Foundation Stage
Learning in the Foundation Stage follows the Early Learning Goals. The curriculum is carefully planned to provide children with a wealth of experiences to encourage independent learning.
Children are assessed on entry into school so that an appropriate curriculum can be developed to meet their individual needs.
There are many opportunities for their personal and social skills which form the foundation for future learning.
We have excellent facilities including an enclosed outdoor play area with a climbing frame and safety surface to encourage the development of gross motor skills.
Other areas of the curriculum are taught by the class teacher and a trained and experienced teaching assistant.
Our aim is to make learning an enjoyable experience so that children find school a safe, happy and stimulating environment.
